Crafts with children: create your own miniature Christmas tree

Most houses have already been prepared to receive the Christmas holidays with occasional decorations. Today I propose an activity to do with your children and put in a corner of the house a special ornament, a paper Christmas tree that we can print, cut and assemble from home.

For this we are going to need the Canon Creative Park templates, which offers us in several files everything necessary to assemble our small tree, which as you can see in the image above is very beautiful.

It is an idea that I love, and I have thought that, in order not to make too much expense of color ink, we will print it in an eraser and in that way my oldest daughter, helped by me if we do not want the tree or ornaments to end up wrinkled before time, you can give it a touch of color as you like.

The main one that we have to print is the first file, in which we find the templates to trim: the body of the tree and the ornaments that will decorate it, beautiful pendants and Christmas ribbons.

After having printed and trimmed the elements that make up our miniature Christmas tree we just have to mount it, and for that On the Canon website they also leave us a file with the instructions.

And although the instructions are in English, we will not have much trouble following them even if we do not master the language, because, apart from the fact that the assembly is simple, it is illustrated with drawings. It is not even necessary to print this document, just by taking a look we will be clear.

I hope you also encourage this activity with the little ones and you will have your own paper Christmas tree that we can print and assemble at home, a miniature tree to decorate any corner.
