The funny face (of this I don't like anything) of the baby who tries the avocado for the first time (video)

What usually happens the first time a baby tries something new? Normally, unless it is something sweet, it makes head movements, makes a bad face and sometimes even spits it out. Sometimes no, sometimes he simply eats it, but a reaction like rejection is usual, more or less similar to that of the girl in the video that I bring you today.

A few days ago, a couple from Pennsylvania decided that they were going to give their daughter avocado and, as it was the first time I was going to eat it, they decided to record it to see what happened. The reaction? The one that I told you, the girl began to do gestures and expressions in plan "I don't like this at all", "but what the hell you put in my mouth" and "why do you keep giving it to me". Something like a "I do not understand anything" of the girl who graced her parents and has already obtained more than half a million visits (you can see the video below).

So is it normal?

If you have children, you will surely have lived it. Prepare a meal with all the illusion and see that your child puts on faces that make you want to not give it to him anymore. I always explain that I felt something similar the first time I had a beer: the rejection was instantaneous, to the point of thinking that I was drinking ... (ahem, I better not say it). It is normal that there are flavors that children are shocked at the start as it is normal for there to be children who do not say anything about themselves and since the first scoop they eat everything without questioning, or who do not eat much but do not have problems with the flavors . So whether you eat it or not, know that it is normal.

What to do if something like this happens?

Seeing the face of the girl in the video leaves a bittersweet feeling. It makes you want, poor thing, not to give you avocado again in life. However, it would be a mistake not to do so. In my youth, I wanted not to try a beer in my life again, but it was the most economical drink and in the absence of resources, every time I went out, I asked for beer. The second one did not excite me too much, but when I was a few weeks old, I liked it and I ended up liking it.

Something similar happens with children: we cannot consider that they don't like a food until they have tried it a few times. How many? It depends on the food and depends on the baby, but it is said that a minimum of 10 tests with a certain type of food are necessary for a baby to accept it and that from 12 to 15 tests, the baby has no problem with that food. What do you take those 12 or 15 tests (which do not need to be 12-15 days in a row) and that face keeps putting on you? Well hey, he really doesn't like anything and it's worth not offering him more for a while. Maybe in the future I accept that food and maybe not, Well, that's it, don't eat it. I don't know any adult who eats what he doesn't like on his own.

What face did your babies put on?

Mine also made faces like that (not so expressive) with what food. And yours? Go, tell us a little what foods caused more rejection and if you also made those gestures of "my mother, what are you feeding me?".
