BabyCord, a toy that mimics the shape of the umbilical cord, would you buy it?

The umbilical cord is your child's first toy in the womb. Approximately after 18-20 weeks of pregnancy the baby begins to interact with him: he tries to practice grabbing him, he rolls around his body and plays with him. It is part of his intrauterine life, and it is also vitally important because it connects the baby with his mother by supplying nutrients and oxygen through the placenta.

A Sevillian businessman, parents of two children, thought it would be a good idea for the baby to continue playing with the cord once he was born, that's why he created BabyCord, a toy that mimics the shape of the umbilical cord (In case you still hadn't discovered it by its shape).

It is a toy with a very special texture created for babies from 0 to 24 months that according to its creators favors the development of their motor skills, such as grip, and reminds them of their life inside the uterus. The first yes, like any toy to grab, the second, more debatable.

It is not toxic so the baby can touch it and take it to the mouth as it is made of medical grade material and has the necessary quality certificates. Even when the first teeth start to come out, it can be used as a teether to soothe the gum pain, we see among its sales claims.

Without a doubt, a curious toy for the little ones, very different from what we are used to seeing. What do you think? Would you buy your baby an umbilical cord-shaped toy?
