Would you make and share a #breastfeedingselfie like the famous ones?

We already told you that breastfeeding selfies were fashionable and we see it more and more on the networks, where the #breastfeedingselfie tag is becoming more frequent. Recently, model Karolina Kurková has posed for herself with her baby, encouraging mothers to do the same.

Although I would not personally take a selfie in this way (or at least I would not make it public), it seems to me that it is one more way to normalize the fact of breastfeeding babies in public in a context in which, unfortunately, this continues being necessary, as it continues to be to legislate to avoid unusual situations in which mothers are not allowed to breastfeed their babies according to what places.

Some public figures have accustomed us to claim this right and it is good that they are increasingly more, although we wonder if this "fashion" has any not-so-positive meaning, an eagerness for prominence or publicity, the exposure of prototypes far from common (which therefore does not "normalize") ...

But when I see that more and more are Anonymous people, "normal", with real measures, who are encouraged to share this special moment and that leaves us beautiful images, as we bring you to our pages from time to time, I forget the inconveniences. There are also more ambitious projects to normalize breastfeeding in public and the need to legislate to protect it, as we saw a few days ago.

And they do anonymous mothers, in their work, with their measurements and their "real" breasts, without Photoshop, without having gone through the hairdresser and in scenarios not "sweetened". I, as I said before, I am quite modest and I do not think I dared to take a selfie in the foreground (like all selfies, go) to share publicly, but I would not mind posing in another type of less "invasive" photography, with other mothers ...

I leave you with the words of the model Karolina Kurková in her #breastfeedingselfie that she liked so much (here you can see many images with this tag on Instagram). And we return to the question with which he titled this post: Would you make and share, like the famous ones, a selfie breastfeeding your baby? Even if the measures are not so "perfect" ...

Taking a moment today to give thanks for the gift of breastfeeding. Nature had discovered things long before us and I think there is no better source of nutrition for our babies than mother's milk, when we are able to breastfeed. It is not an easy process, but I encourage you not to give up! It was a challenge for me at first, but I am enjoying every step of this trip. I praise the women who have made this beautiful commitment!
