Much of childhood cancer could be avoided with proper eating habits

On February 4, World Cancer Day will take place, for this reason, the Spanish Association against Cancer has just launched an informational program with the purpose of raising public awareness about the importance of maintaining healthy habits, such as Exercise or maintain a healthy and balanced diet.

In Spain there are a large number of cases that present this disease and many of them could have been avoided just by maintaining healthy habits. The campaign that we have mentioned before is intended for children from 10 years and their parents, but the truth is that it would be interesting if a campaign had been destined for all children. Healthy habits are more easily assimilated when the child is younger, so that when he is 10 years old, he already has the well-established bases to maintain a good lifestyle where healthy eating and exercise prevail. It is interesting to know the informative program of this campaign, we can access it through the network and educate ourselves about what is suitable for children and adults. In this program we can find six thematic groups with all kinds of information related to cancer, tobacco, alcohol, food, physical exercise, etc.

The elderly are more aware of the problems generated by bad habits and some assume the consequences of maintaining them, children are a reflection of the elderly and we need to adopt appropriate behaviors, it may depend on tomorrow your child can suffer from this unfortunate disease
