Nicolás is a naughty 10 year old boy which tells his adventures with his gang in the first person, style that we find in the books of Elvira Lindo with "Manolito Gafotas". Although we hope that this version is more fortunate than those that brought Manolito to our screens, which in my opinion leave much to be desired ...
I think it could become a fun movie for the whole family, since daddies can look back and feel nostalgic for the innocent and carefree vision of the child and children feel partakers and protagonists of the adventures that Nicolas lives.
The film version is scheduled to arrive in French theaters in October 2009. The French director Laurent Tirard will direct this adaptation, and the search to choose the little one who will play Nicolás is being a social phenomenon in France. No wonder that thousands of children who know their adventures want to give them life in the cinema.
