Dr. Estivill has been awarded an award. Yes. The funny thing is that they have not given it to their colleagues, but the European Association of Bed Manufacturers, EBIA. I almost blushed when I said it: it doesn't seem like something that extols the curriculum of any aspiring scientist. The first thing that caught my attention was that the Bed Makers dedicated themselves to giving prizes. I had never heard of them or their awards. Had someone done it?
The funny thing is that the awards they give are not for a good specialist in the construction of good beds, which seems to me an important thing, but to a doctor. I do not believe that Bed Manufacturers have the appropriate knowledge to assess the contribution of this man to serious and scientific studies on sleep. And of course they don't know the ins and outs of the "method" or the possible harm to the physical and emotional health of babies. And, in addition, upon entering its page, I found some beautiful photos. And those beautiful photos show us happy families that share the bed. What is certain that Estivill seems fatal and would advise a therapy for all threatening the worst mental disorders if the child is not sent to his own room alone.
Estivill has its prize, not for a Medical Association, but for the European Bed Manufacturers. An absurd more than adding to his media career. I congratulate you. It has what it deserves.
