We improve the comment system in Babies and more

As you know, we are continually making changes to our blog to improve its functionalities. On this occasion the announcement is that We improve the comment system in Babies and more.

There are four changes that will be very useful as they improve the visual appearance and usability of comments. They are a fundamental element for our community, so any improvement is welcome.

The first change consists in the possibility of edit the comment within fifteen minutes after its publication. This allows us to correct mistakes we may have made when writing the comment. Many times, as soon as we hit the publish button we realize some error.

Now it can be fixed by pressing the "Edit" button in the upper right margin of the comment. If we use this function, just below the comment will appear when it was last edited, as can be seen in the following image.

Another novelty in the system is that we can respond directly to other comments, nesting the conversation up to three levels. To do this, simply press the "Reply" button that is just below the comment, and once published the response will be seen just below the previous one, regardless of the comment number.

This functionality makes the debate much faster, and as I said before we can nest up to three levels of responses.

We also have three new tabs. The conversation view with nested comments will be the one we see by default in a new tab called "Conversations". Next to it there will be two more new tabs: "Top rated" and "Last".

In the first we will see the comments ordered according to the votes they have received from users (with ratings of bright, interesting, normal, lazy and irrelevant) and also by recent published comments. This will allow us to follow conversations more comfortably.

In “Last”, the comments will be displayed from top to bottom by the last comment posted in that post, that is, we change the order to descending.

And finally, from now on you can add a web page or blog to the user profile. In addition, it will not only appear on your profile page, but will also appear along with the username and avatar in the comments you make on the blog.

We hope you continue to participate actively in Babies and more through our new improved commenting system. Now, to try it.
