When you want to have a child, many women plan the date of birth of the baby as they find most convenient for their professional activity. Although it is something over which you cannot have absolute control because sometimes things do not go as planned, a study has managed to verify that, in general, the month of birth of the children is influenced by the profession of their mothers.
Economist Julien Grenet has observed that the children of teachers tend to be born in April, those of executives in May and September and those of independent workers in July.
Executives tend to get pregnant on summer vacations and also on winter vacations. Apparently, the rest period encourages conception, which in the case of independent workers is usually in the fall.
On the other hand, it is more common for children of farming mothers to be born between August and November, once the work in the field is finished.
Each one, within their occupations, tries to either coincide with rest dates to dedicate themselves to looking for a pregnancy or to agree the birth with holiday periods in order to add them to maternity leave.
Another very interesting fact is that they have found differences in the school and professional success of children born in December with respect to those born in January. It is concluded that being born at the end of the year could condition your life worse.
