Physiofun: Kegel exercises on the Wii

Video games have long gone from being just entertainment to also becoming allies for health care. In Nintendo they have thought about the recent moms to develop Physiofun, an aid to perform Kegel exercises on the Wii.

The truth is that Kegel exercises are very easy to perform, but for the most inconstant a little help is not bad.

They are very simple exercises aimed at strengthening the pelvic floor, so they are especially recommended for pregnant women, for a better birth and for women who have just had a baby. They help restore the tone and elasticity of the muscles in that area, contributing to prevent, among other things, urinary incontinence.

We have not tried it because it has just been launched, in reality I do not think it is too necessary, but there are those who prefer to have a guide on how to do the exercises and the Wii works in these cases as a kind of company when performing them. It offers a 30-day training plan that introduces exercise routines every time with a little more difficulty.

In addition to the ten-minute sessions that can be done with the baby in your arms, the program also allows each woman to create her own training, selecting among the different exercises available and choosing the number of repetitions and time per exercise. As a complement, it includes a bascule similar to that of Wii Fit Plus, which allows the mother to weigh herself first and then with her baby, to obtain the weights of both.
