Junk food and advertising for children

I leave this video about "junk food" and advertising for children, a conjunction of elements that is at the base of the problem of obesity in children in the western world.

The video explains, although applied to the case of Mexico, what contains junk food and industrial pastries and the enormous influence that television advertising of these products has on children, to which they are really helpless, since many times, their Parents themselves, they don't know what they face. It should be known that not all foods for children have good nutritional qualities and, when we talk about junk food, the problem grows.

Many of us consume these products, possibly because we don't really know their composition, and we buy them from our children thinking that the nutritional quality of these foods is much more adequate than they really have.

The quantity of fat and its quality, sugar and salt of any processed food should be clearly specified in the labeling, in addition to, as they propose, this measure be accompanied by awareness campaigns and the prohibition of advertising of food aimed at children, as It is the best way to fight the obesity epidemic that, like Mexico, our country suffers, as it has been recently announced in the "Aladdin Study", which emphasizes that half of Spanish children are overweight or obese.

I leave this video about junk food and advertising for children. I would like to discuss it and I will continue talking about this serious public health problem, proposing some real measures that could change this worrying tendency to childhood obesity.
