Antonio de la Fuente Arjona represents his work "The thief of words"

Antonio de la Fuente Arjona he reads and interprets part of his book "The Word Thief" at the Casa del Libro de Madrid on March 9, 2012. It is a work of the four that has written in which the theater for children prevails and is a practical example of how you can use the theater inside the classroom to support Learning any school subject.

Seeing Antonio reading and interpreting his work is a pleasure and a stimulating exercise For students, teachers and parents who read stories at home to kids. His way of expressing himself, of gesturing, of pausing, of living the story is really original and fascinating to enjoy during the entire duration of the video.

In this case Antonio puts the focus on language although the second language, art, history and mathematics are also worked in his works. And is that his books are like a toy because they are full of games and exercises for the reader to solve. Although as they are more fascinating it is when the choral work is done and the whole class works with the book.

In his performance, entertainment, fantasy, adventure, reality, emotion, imagination and also the rebelliousness of children when they grow up are perceived. And Antonio grew up reading the classics: Julio Verne, Robert Louis Stevenson or Daniel Defoe. And those books open an imaginary world that fills the childhood of millions of children in the world.

The recording was made on Friday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the CASA DEL LIBRO on Calle Hermosilla, 21 in Madrid. They talked and played about the children's theater books, "THE THOUGHT OF WORDS", "THE MYSTERIOUS SHADOW", "MY FRIEND FREMD SPEAKS RARE" and "THE REBELLION OF THE NUMBERS".

I think The Book House will continue working with this option to bring the authors closer to their readers so if you have the option of going to see Antonio or other authors who represent his work with that intensity, please enjoy and tell your friends. They will love to know that in the books there are a lot of options to stimulate the illusion and creativity of the little ones.
