The other day on Tele5 they broadcast a documentary about the games that Spain played in the 2010 World Cup and that was finally won, leaving that star on the team's shirt. In the images you can see a ritual performed by coach Vicente del Bosque before each meeting. And it is that he repeated to the players, to all, the lessons that had worked previously: beware of rivals, humility, work, effort and generosity with the partner. Plus, I told them that in Spain there were a lot of children waiting for them and their victories.
So, as Vicente del Bosque is still the coach, many World champion players are also in the European Championship and the children are still children, let's think that the Spanish team will do their best to bring the smile, joy and enthusiasm to all the children of Spain. Because the whole year the kids have collected the cards, they have played in the school, they have participated in their leagues or competitions and they all have their idols on their televisions playing soccer with the best players in Europe and in spectacular scenarios.
So we will dream with passion that Spain can win again and that for children it will be a response to their spirits and their desires. Because all the players, who are seen in the image before flying to Poland, will do everything possible to beat their rivals by playing, scoring goals and celebrating them with Spain.
This afternoon Spain begins to play the tournament, against Italy. We wish them good luck and ask them not to forget the children they are hoping to be in the future as they are now: great players, world champions and a reference for the illusions of the Spaniards.
