Rock Camp Spain announces five scholarships for the pioneer rock camp in Spain. And is that Rock Camp maintains its efforts, for the fifth consecutive year, to enhance the musical and artistic skills of the youngest. In this call five scholarships for children and young people are offered between 11 and 17 years old, one for each category that takes place in the camp: voice, guitar, bass, drums and keyboard.
The granting of scholarships responds to criteria of originality and creativity Therefore, participants must prove their worth by recording a musical performance in which they demonstrate artistic skills and aptitude for music. The deadline for submitting the videos ends on March 30 and the jury's decision, composed of the Rock Camp teachers themselves, will be published on their website on April 6, 2014. The economic endowment of the scholarships, to be confirmed with the Organization of the Camp, includes the registration of the camp and all the teaching and recreational materials.
We remind you that the Rock Camp is a project that offers children and young people between 11 and 17 years of age a unique educational concept: entertainment, fun and practical training in equal parts. Thus, the program includes an extensive calendar of workshops and musical activities complemented by sports, leisure and adventure activities.
Children, during camp days, have to compose a song, act in public, learn musical notions and body expression and many more activities. The goal is to improve confidence, overcome stage fright, instill the importance of teamwork and personal effort, have fun in the company of other people with similar interests and interact and learn about nature.
In 2014, Rock Camp takes place in four shifts: from June 28 to July 9, from July 12 to 23, from July 27 to August 7 and from August 8 to 17. The meeting is held at the facilities of the Sotolengo Youth Camp located in Navaleno (Soria).
