This is a project that offers a leisure alternative for children with heart disease Through the organization and development of adapted recreational activities, but also offers a respite to parents and family members. This camp, which lasts for eight days, will be attended by 45 children.

Let's remember that in Spain, About 4,000 children are born every year with a heart injury. Fortunately, medical advances have achieved that, at present, 85% of these children reach adulthood, thanks to prenatal diagnosis and subsequent treatments, increasingly precise and less aggressive. In the 80s, the survival figure was only 20%.

Often, these children must live with a series of particularities that, in many cases, are not taken into account in the summer activities that exist in the market aimed at these ages. For this reason, the Menudos Corazones Foundation annually organizes two Summer Camps, one for children and one for adolescents with congenital heart disease.
