Babies highlights and more: April 16-22

As every Monday (one hour late today) we offer you our review by Babies highlights and more to help you remember or discover our content most valued by readers.

We begin with the news of the birth of Guim, the third son of our partner Armando, who has excited us all and also has left us enthralled when he has counted the day of delivery. What a good thing you're done, Armando!

I have also told you about the accident we suffered at home when a hot water bottle exploded, with, fortunately, slight consequences but a huge scare.

Of course, being as it is a very topical issue, we have dealt with Education. We have explained that, despite what we might think, the Minister of Education asserts that the quality of education will not be affected by the cuts, we have shown you a comparison of the working conditions of the world's teachers and we have invited to reflect on the differences between school and life.

I want to highlight two interesting news about the best care we can give to babies and that they can surely help you to be more informed and, incidentally, show them to those who confuse you with wrong comments. One is that professionals who recommend that newborns not receive visitors and the other, equally important for the well-being of children, is that German doctors recommend not taking babies face the world in the carrier.

Regarding health, we have echoed the concern about the rebound in cases of measles and whooping cough in Spain, of the possible danger that mobiles can pose during pregnancy.

In addition, we have been concerned about coffee consumption during breastfeeding and the precautions for not transmitting caries to babies.

We have also told you about curious things: the latest fashion in the United States, which are cakes to know the sex of the baby and the eight-month-old pregnant woman who is going to participate in the Olympics.

We have also continued with our Special Children's Room, talking about the changing tables, about the storage in the baby's room and also offering some tips to decorate a baby's room with little space.

With this we finish our weekly review to the most outstanding contents of Babies and more. We will continue working this week and we will offer you a new compilation next Monday.
