The Mother's Day and you may not have something ready to entertain mom in her day. For us there is nothing more beautiful than a little detail made by our kids, so take note of these last minute gifts that kids can make for mom.
Painted pots
A very simple idea that I have seen in The Celebration shoppe is buy a clay pot and paint her mother's initial, or have each child paint a pot with the initial of their own name.
You just have to make a template in cardboard with the letter as a stencil and paint it with acrylic. Very easy and quick to do.
To top off the gift and make the pot look beautiful, you buy her favorite silver and place it inside.
A sleeping mask
Another detail that you can decorate to your liking It is a sleeping mask. Of course you will have to buy one first, or look at home if you have any that you have been given on a trip. If there is an aunt or grandmother who knows how to sew one it would be great.
In a haberdashery you will find braid ribbons that you can paste in the mask. It is very nice to place one around and get two that look like eyelashes. Otherwise, you can also make them with black or brown wool, or paper cut into thin strips.
A pot with flowers, but on a card
Cards are a last-minute aid. With a little imagination you can make a very nice one like this one that I teach you about flowers inside a pot.
You must first make a pot as if it were an envelope and then the bouquet of flowers as it fits inside. In the latter you can write a secret message.
And of course, decorate the pot and flowers with all possible colors. You can use buttons, ribbons, glitter ... everything goes.
Painted stones
A beautiful craft to do with children, besides being a very economical idea is paint stones.
You have to choose as smooth stones as possible and paint them with bright colored acrylics.
A good idea is to paint bugs like the ones you see in the photo, another is to paint the vegetables that mom has planted in the garden and place the stones to decorate, or her favorite flowers and put the stones inside the pots.
